Red hair, green eyes, and 5 feet 10 inches. That is my 22-year-old girlfriend Holly Brown. We first met in high school; she was in my American History class. In fact, she was at the top of the class, while I was barely in the low B's. We started becoming friends after we worked on a history project together. By the end of high school, we officially became a couple, and during our last year of college, we moved into a small apartment. Thus, we have been together ever since.
Of course, being 5'10" (just an inch shorter than I am), Holly has a rather lean body. In fact, it is so lean, that it almost looks like the body of a mannequin. But then again, it's not her body that I love about her. Rather, it is pretty much her other assets. Even if she had a drastically different body, I'd still love her.
One day, Holly and I checked out a strange European clothing store which contained no people inside. Well, except the cashier. What caught Holly's eye was a green ribbon. "Allan, look at this!" she called. "Isn't it cute?"
When I saw the ribbon that Holly was holding, I was instantly reminded of a certain tale regarding a similar green ribbon. "I guess," I answered.
"I'll bet it looks even cuter on my neck," Holly said as put the ribbon on. "So do I?"
"You do," I said. I then remembered the tale more. I thought that could be... nah, that was just a fictional story. After all, there are many green ribbons, and they're not as mystical.
"Thanks," Holly said, blushing. She then took off the ribbon, and... yes, that tale was true. But here's the stranger part: she still lived! Thanks to her quick reflexes, she caught her head as it fell off. She then overlooked her headless body with a shocked expression.
"Oh, my God," we both said in unison.
I grabbed Holly's head. She blinked twice at me. "This is both cool and creepy," she said. "Now could you give my head back to me?"
"Sure, babe," I said. I then put her head back onto her neck, but it would not attach. "Maybe if you put on the ribbon."
Holly instantly put the ribbon on her neck, and thus, her head attached to her neck. She removed the ribbon and saw that the cut between her head and neck disappeared. "Neat. Let's buy it!"
I looked at Holly. "Are you serious?"
"Very. This ribbon is so awesome!"
"OK, whatever makes you happy." We went to the counter to buy the ribbon. It cost $20, which is pretty pricey for a small ribbon, but maybe because this was no ordinary ribbon. After paying the lady, Holly and I took the ribbon home. Holly was getting ecstatic at all the possibilities of this unusual ribbon.

A New Sensation
Okay… what’s going on?
This sensation is familiar, but I can’t remember why. I don’t even know what this sensation is. I can’t remember anything.
I should get my bearings: what am I?
I am a person.
I can think.
I remember everything up to a minute ago. And I remember what a minute is.
And I’m whole. From the base of my feet to the nice flat surface of my neck.
Wait. Something’s supposed to go there. On top of my neck. About yay big.
That’s about a foot wide, isn’t it? But no, feet are meant to be at the bottom of me. And my neck is too big for an ankle.
I feel something rest itself o

Down in the Dumps
Alice was down in the dumps. She gave a big sigh as her cheek pressed against the warm, sun bathed ground. At least it was a nice day, she thought to herself while trying to stay positive. But who was she trying to kid? There was nothing good about today. Thing could not get any worse than this. Alice's mind wandered aimlessly as she laid there on her own. How would she make it on her own now? Will today ever pick up?
"Whoa, what's this!" exclaimed a voice from the distance. Alice snaps out her thoughts and did her best to see who that was. She unfortunately could not due to the situation. Alice began to pout, considering how rough the day h

My Headless Girlfriend. Intro
Sandra Geret is late for class, again. As much as she wanted to blame it on her defective alarm clock Sandra doesn't exactly have a
good track record of being on time for, well anything really.
"Ahhh... ffffffuck." Sandra says half awake, dragging out that f as she dragged herself out of bed. She takes a minute to rub her eyes
and get used to the bright white walls of her college dorm room reflecting the sunlight shining through her large window after 12 hours of
on and off sleep.
Sandra takes deep breath. "And... Go!" At the speed of light Sandra springs off her bed and rushes in to her bathroom fixing herself up

You know the tale of the Green Ribbon? Well, this is my take on it.
Funny thing, this story was originally going to begin in a different way, but halfway through, I figured that I would put that idea in a second or third part of this. So stay tuned.
